Terms for using Debt Free Date

By accessing or using Debt Free Date, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Debt Free Date is an educational planning tool. Use of the service does not create a financial-adviser relationship or a personalized financial, legal, tax, or credit advisory service.

The core service does not require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of balances, APR values, payments, scenario amounts, and other information you enter.

Do not enter account numbers, login credentials, Social Security numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive identifiers into the calculators or APR negotiation notes.

Results depend on the values entered and the published calculation assumptions. Debt Free Date does not guarantee a debt payoff result, an exact interest amount, a payment-posting date, or agreement with a creditor statement.

Actual outcomes can change because of fees, daily interest, variable rates, new transactions, payment timing, creditor minimum-payment formulas, promotional terms, or other creditor rules.

Debt Free Date does not guarantee a lender or issuer outcome. APR negotiation scripts do not promise a rate reduction, temporary promotion, retention offer, approval, or response from an issuer.

The service does not select a lender, card, loan, balance-transfer offer, or other financial product for a user.

Use the service only for lawful personal or informational purposes. Do not interfere with operation, bypass safeguards, send abusive automated traffic, probe for credentials, or use optional AI access in a way that creates unreasonable load or cost.

Do not misrepresent calculator estimates, call scripts, or optional explanations as creditor statements, approval notices, professional advice, or certain outcomes.

The Debt Free Date name, branding, interface, original copy, and software may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership or grant permission to misuse branding or copy protected material.

The service can change, pause, or become unavailable. Features, calculation methods, supported values, and these terms can be updated when the product or its operating requirements change.

A visible review date identifies the current published version. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply to later use.

Core calculations do not require a third-party AI request. If you explicitly consent to an optional AI explanation, the limited structured summary described in the Privacy Policy is sent through OpenRouter and a configured model provider.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and policies. Their availability and output are not controlled by the deterministic calculator engine.

Use Debt Free Date at your own discretion. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, exact results, or fitness for a specific financial decision.

You remain responsible for decisions made using the service and for verifying consequential information with creditors or qualified professionals. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
