What the product does
The calculators help people inspect one debt or a portfolio of debts. They can compare minimum payments, debt snowball, debt avalanche, extra-payment scenarios, APR changes, and a structured Debt-Free Master Plan.
Every displayed financial result comes from the same deterministic engine. The same valid inputs and calculation date produce the same output.
What the product does not do
Debt Free Date does not connect to a bank, pull a credit report, open an account, approve a loan, predict an issuer decision, or select a financial product.
The results are educational planning estimates. They are not financial advice, a lender payoff quote, or a promise that a particular repayment plan is affordable.
Private by default
Calculator values stay in the browser session. The application does not store debt values in localStorage, sessionStorage, cookies, a database, or public URLs.
Calculator data stays in the browser unless you choose the optional AI explanation on the noindex Master Plan. That feature discloses the external transmission before consent and sends only a narrow validated plan summary.
How to review the work
The methodology page documents interest, payment, strategy, rounding, and validation rules. The editorial policy explains how financial claims, deterministic output, optional AI text, review dates, and corrections are handled.
